Day 1: From Marrakech to Ouarzazate via the High Atlas peaks
The journey begins in Marrakech, heading south toward the towering High Atlas range. Soon after departure, the road climbs toward Berber villages and sweeping viewpoints around Aït Ourir, before entering the winding ascent of the Tizi n’Tichka pass—one of the most spectacular mountain roads in North Africa.
As altitude increases, the scenery transforms dramatically: fertile valleys give way to rugged cliffs, earthen villages, and vast mineral landscapes bathed in shifting light. A lunch stop is arranged in a mountain village, where a traditional Moroccan meal is served with panoramic views of the peaks.
In the afternoon, visit the striking Telouet Kasbah, once the ancestral residence of the powerful El Glaoui family. Hidden high in the mountains, this architectural gem reveals beautifully decorated rooms, intricate zellige tilework, and echoes of a lavish past.
By evening, arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay on the edge of the desert.

Day 2: Oases, kasbahs & desert heritage
After breakfast, head to the lush Fint Oasis, a hidden green sanctuary nestled between rocky mountains and palm groves. Enjoy a gentle walk through this peaceful setting, followed by a traditional tea shared with a local family for a meaningful cultural exchange.
Continue to the Kasbah of Tifoultoute, an impressive fortress-like structure overlooking the valley. Once used as a filming location for major Hollywood productions, it offers sweeping views and a unique atmosphere blending history and cinema.
In the afternoon, travel to the world-famous Aït Benhaddou. This UNESCO-listed ksar, once a key stop on Saharan caravan routes, is a striking example of traditional earthen architecture. Its fortified towers and maze-like alleys have also featured in numerous international films.
As the sun sets, the kasbahs glow in warm red tones, creating a magical atmosphere. Dinner is served on a panoramic terrace overlooking the site, offering a memorable dining experience before returning to Ouarzazate for the night.
Day 3: Atlas film studios & return to Marrakech
The final day is dedicated to the famous Atlas Film Studios, often called the “Hollywood of the desert.” Spread across vast desert terrain, these studios have hosted major international productions since the 1960s.
Explore iconic film sets from Gladiator, The Mummy, and Cleopatra, among others, and step into a world where cinema and desert landscapes merge seamlessly.
